Chel and I arrived in Holland on March 31st to the shock of a 30 degree drop in temperature! We were amazed to find that in the rest of the world cows don't rule the road and people actually stick to their own lane in traffic! We were quickly whisked away from the airport and arrived at Remijnses which was lovely! We got to wash our dreadfully dirty clothing in a WASHING MACHINE! Drink cups upon cups of tea and sleep in our own bed! We were also quickly indoctrinated in the european ways! We explored Rotterdam, rode bikes along the Kinderdijk and experienced the bustling city of Amsterdam! The rain has been a lovely though cold change, and we have come to the sad realization that we are loosing quite a bit of hair! What to blame it on we're not really sure, though lack of nutrition seems to be the biggest factor thus far! Tomorrow we are heading to Berlin which should be wonderful! Europe is beautiful though we've been dealing with quite the culture shock, eating breakfast in India and dinner in Holland, it all seemed to happen rather fast!
Well much love from us baldys!
Have a beautiful day!
xoxo Simone and Chelsea!
Hello girls.
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your trek around Europe. I am so excited to see all your pictures.
Hope that you have stopped losing your hair. Probably fulfilling most of your nutritional needs now that you can get real food again.
Sara and I just got back from the jazz festival in Kelowna. Always fun to be on a bus trip with 30 grade 9ers and 10 grade 10ers. Probably equivalent to some of your guys bus trips, minus the heat.
Ella just moved home this weekend for the summer until the wedding. It will be great to have her home for a while. You have been lucky to have her the last two summers, now it is our turn again.
Anyways, enjoy the rest of your trip. Looking forwards to hearing where you are going next. Remember to get addresses if you decide to go to Denmark.
Love you.
